2. Purchase any additional software or hardware for your computer that will help you do your job better. Don't skimp thinking that your computer is enough and you can just make the money roll in. If you plan on writing get the newest word processing software and consider buying a system with two monitors so you can view your work and your source at the same time. If you plan on selling items online, buy all the packing material you will need.
3. Find a need and fill it. There are many sites online where you can write to earn money. Websites such as FreelanceWritingGigs.com list these type of opportunities. Look at websites such as Craigslist.com for what kinds of services people are searching for. Look at what others are doing at different websites to make money and study why their choice works or doesn't.
